| This antibody was developed to detect the dephosphorylated, or active, form of beta-catenin. It shows a strong avidity for the dephosphorylated form of beta-catenin. The antibody has been absorbed over phosphorylated beta-catenin and affinity purified over its non-phosphorylated peptide antigen. Under western blot conditions the antibody show strong reactivity with unphosphorylated beta-catenin protein. There is some cross reactivity with phosphorylated beta-catenin in some experimental conditions. |  |
